It all started when…

… my Dad put me on a snowskate in the yard one snowy morning, I was 18 months old.

Today, I'm a competitive freeride snowboarder with IFSA and FWT Junior series, and enter as many banked slalom’s and rail Jam’s as I can.

My home mountain is Aplental and I have deep roots at Hyak (Summit East). We head to Steven’s Pass a few times each year but the drive sucks. I’ve been taking trips to Park City for my entire life and recently got to ride at Brighton and Snowbird, they are awesome!

Inspiration

I was 8 years old when Sage Kotsenburg won Gold at the Olympics in slopestyle and he has been one of my idols ever since. My favorite story from Sage was when he was on the Bomb hole podcast and said (something like)

I called my brother right before my run [at the Olympics] to ask his advice on a trick I wanted to do — he said go for it, and that was the final push I needed to do it.

I want to be like both Sage and his brother, ready to go push myself with a bit of extra confidence from my little brother, AND the person my friends can call to get that extra push that they need.
